So incredibly happy - Highland Evolution feels like a second family. The teachers truly care, and my daughter has gained so much confidence. Dance has taught her discipline, healthy habits, and a strong work ethic. The older dancers are great role models which goes to show that the style of teaching is well embedded. Where Passion Becomes Purpose and Potential Shines
My daughters began their Highland dance journey with Highland Evolution in 2020 at just 3 and 6 years old, and from their very first class with Bex and Heather, they were completely captivated. That first end-of-year production was nothing short of magical—it was clear we had found something truly special.
Now, five years on, both girls have embraced competitive dancing and have grown immensely through the experience. They’ve formed lasting friendships, learned the value of teamwork, and had the thrill of competing—and medaling—at RSOBHD Regional, National, and International Championships. The studio’s trip to Australia for the International Championships was a particular standout: a fantastic team-building opportunity and an unforgettable adventure.
Every year, the HE end-of-year show continues to impress us. With over 60 dancers on stage, the performances are a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and community—complete with stunning choreography, dynamic routines, and beautiful costumes.
Beyond the competitions and performances, the greatest gifts our girls have received are the ones that last a lifetime: confidence, resilience, courage, and friendship. The dedication, passion, and heart that the Highland Evolution team of Bex and Heather, with the behind the scenes support of Jo and Sarah, pour into their dancers is something special, and we are so grateful to be part of this wonderful dance family.
